Arrival at Suvarnabhumi International Airport/Check-in at MetroPoint Bangkok Hotel

June 19, 2013 :

-Welcome Address by NIDA President

-Welcome Address by Assistant to President for International Affairs

-NIDA Campus Tour(NIDA Library/NIDA Museum/Conference and Study Rooms/Indoor Sports Center/Saimaan Waterfall/Prince Naradhip Bongsprabandha Building and Pattanatara Aquatic Garden)

-Reception Party(National costume required)

June 20, 2013 :

-An Overview of Green Economy Key Note by Graduate School of Development Economics, National Institute of Development Administration/Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment

-Road Map to Green Society Key Note by Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (Public Organization)

-Thai Language Course by Dr. Jaray Singhakowinta Graduate School of Language and Communication, National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA)

June 21, 2013 :

-Visit Pattaya where is a popular beach resort on the Gulf of Thailand

-Sightseeing around NONG NOOCH TROPICAL GARDEN & RESORT. See the largest variety of Orchids in Thailand and more than 670 native species and hybrids are kept here for breeding and research purposes

-Visit Mini Siam where featured miniatures of all famous Thailand landmark sculptures

Qualifications and Registration Requirements :

1. Applicants must be students studying in the third year or fourth year of undergraduate or graduate degree

2. All applicants must submit verification of undergraduate or graduate study including the most recent official transcript and a confirmation letter from your institute

3. All applicants must submit your essay of at least 1000 words reflecting statement of purpose as part of their complete application for admission. Your written essay must be comprised of the following topic: “Explicate how could the concept of “Green Economy” be applicable to the analysis of your own standpoint as a member of Global Citizenship?

4. All applicants mus be effective in English skills

5. Interested in Green Economy and Green Society

6. Effective cross-cultural adaptation and social adjusment

7. All applicants must be in good health with no infectious or contagious disease

8. Please prepare your national costume for a reception party

9. Deadline for application Submission is April 11, 2013

10. Please send the registration form including required documents via email address at chanokpan_sri@yahoo.com or nida_oia@yahoo.com and by airmail at NIDA address

11. Applicants will be considered according to the quality of your written essay and personal academic record and there are 50 participants to join the 2nd NIDA Summer Camp
