fsm.undip.ac.id/ The National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN) through the Photonics Research Center of the Nanotechnology and Materials Research Organization explored strategic collaborative cooperation in the field of Nanotechnology and Materials with the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University. This was done through discussions and the signing of a cooperation script at the Acintya Prasada Building FSM, on Tuesday (24/10).

Dean of FSM Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si in her speech said that this meeting was a continuation of the idea of the Department of Physics through Dr. Ali Khumaeni, M.Si, Ph.D. “We hope that from this cooperation initiation there are activities that can be collaborated, because this cooperation is not only an agreement, but technical collaboration that is beneficial for both parties to support the Tri Dharma of Higher Education,” she said.

Head of BRIN Photonics Research Center Dr. Isnaeni said that the problem solving process in nanotechnology and materials had been discussed at the previous meeting, and we hope to contribute a lot in this regard. Research conducted by researchers at the Photonics Research Center is cross-disciplinary and across research centers / research organizations and even research collaborations with domestic and foreign universities and domestic industries or MSMEs.

The Photonics Research Center opens the widest possible research collaboration opportunities to all researchers and the people of Indonesia. “We hope that the Photonics Research Center can contribute significantly to national development by increasing the nation’s independence through research and innovation,” he said.

This cooperation agreement is valid for 5 years, while the form of cooperation is carried out in the form of education and training; Merdeka Campus Learning Program activities; Assignment of experts in accordance with the provisions; development and application of technology; cooperation in the utilization and application of research results; joint use of laboratory equipment in the context of joint research; joint research and publication; community service and joint publication; willing to accept graduates according to applicable regulations.
