On Wednesday, May 28, 2025, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Diponegoro University became the final faculty visited in a series of educational and interactive roadshows organized by the Technical Implementation Unit for Student Consultation, Disability Services, Discipline Enforcement, and Ethics (UPT LKDPDEM). Held on the 6th floor of the Acintya Prasada Building, the event focused on the university’s strategic services related to mental health, support for students with disabilities, enforcement of student ethics, and the prevention and handling of violence within academic environments. The event was open to all FSM lecturers, educational staff, and students, and was met with enthusiastic participation.

The event was officially opened by FSM Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ngadiwiyana, S.Si., M.Si., who emphasized that the establishment of UPT LKDPDEM reflects Diponegoro University’s commitment to providing meaningful and comprehensive services for both students and faculty. He highlighted that the vision of “Dignified Undip, Beneficial Undip” must begin with individual awareness within the campus community so that its benefits can be tangibly felt and spread beyond the university. He also expressed hope that the essence of this program would align with the broader vision of UPT LKDPDEM and be internalized by all members of FSM’s academic community.

The session featured two keynote speakers who shared vital information about the services and support systems available at Diponegoro University. The first speaker, Dr. A.A.S. Manik Mahachandra J.M., S.T., M.Sc., Chair of the Sexual Violence Prevention and Handling Task Force (PPKS) at Undip, discussed the various forms of violence still occurring on campuses, including sexual, psychological, and physical violence, as well as discrimination and intolerance. He explained the reporting procedures and the core principles of case handling at Undip, which include non-discrimination, a victim-centered approach, gender equity, accountability, and a guarantee of non-repetition. This system is designed to provide maximum protection and a safe space for victims.

The second speaker, Annastasia Ediati, S.Psi., M.Sc., Ph.D., Psychologist and Head of UPT LKDPDEM, delivered a comprehensive overview of the unit’s three main services: student consultation, support for students with disabilities, and discipline and ethics enforcement. The consultation services are offered individually or in groups by professional psychologists to assist students in dealing with academic and non-academic challenges. Meanwhile, the disability services aim to ensure that students with special needs can participate in academic activities equitably and with dignity. In terms of discipline, UPT LKDPDEM also plays a role in handling violations of the student code of ethics and campus regulations in accordance with applicable university policies.

The “Diponegoro Student Care Goes to FSM UNDIP” event marked a significant step for FSM in fostering a mentally healthy, inclusive, and ethically grounded campus environment. The strong enthusiasm of participants reflected the growing awareness of the importance of these strategic services within FSM. Through this initiative, it is hoped that the entire FSM academic community will become an active part of a collective movement to create a safe, supportive, and growth-oriented academic environment.
