The proceedings of The 8th International Conference on Informatics and Computational Sciences (ICICoS 2025), organized by the Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro, have now been officially published and are accessible through IEEE Xplore. The publication of these proceedings marks the conclusion of the ICICoS 2025 series and underscores the Department of Informatics FSM UNDIP’s contribution to strengthening the ecosystem of research and scientific publications at the international level.
ICICoS 2025 was previously held on 29–30 October 2025, carrying the theme “Empowering Informatics and Computational Science for Sustainable Development in the Artificial Intelligence-Driven Era.” The conference featured three keynote speakers and was attended by more than 300 participants from 12 countries. Out of a total of 184 submitted papers, 77 papers were accepted, resulting in an acceptance rate of 41.8 percent. The accepted papers covered a wide range of topics, including artificial intelligence, information security, data science, and the development of computational technologies to support sustainable development.
In addition to bringing together researchers, academics, and practitioners from various countries, ICICoS 2025 also strengthened collaboration with the IEEE Indonesia Section and academic units within Universitas Diponegoro. Remarks delivered by faculty and university leaders emphasized that ICICoS is part of Universitas Diponegoro’s ongoing efforts to foster a strong research culture, enhance international publication performance, and expand scientific networks in the fields of informatics and computational sciences.
With the publication of the ICICoS 2025 proceedings on IEEE Xplore, the Department of Informatics FSM UNDIP expects that the research disseminated through this conference will generate broader scientific and practical impacts, while also opening opportunities for further collaboration at both national and international levels.

The Department of Informatics FSM UNDIP extends its appreciation to all authors, reviewers, keynote speakers, and everyone who contributed to the successful organization of ICICoS 2025 and the publication of its proceedings. The annual conference is scheduled to be held again in 2026. The 9th ICICoS 2026 will carry the theme “Advancing Sustainable Artificial Intelligence for a Human-Centered Digital Society.”
