Thursday, October 22, 2020, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University, commemorated the 32nd Anniversary by holding Scientific Oration and Tumpeng Cutting Activities. This activity is carried out semi-online in the Senate Meeting Room, 4th Floor, Acintya Prasada Building and Online via Ms. Teams attended by the Dean and the entire academic community. The event was opened with remarks from the Dean of FSM Undip, Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si. in her remarks she expressed her gratitude to the entire academic community for the achievements this year, especially for the achievements of the 8 new professors. She hopes that the increasing number of professors at the Faculty of Science and Mathematics can boost research at the Faculty and motivate other lecturers to follow soon.
The event was continued with the introduction of a new Doctorate in the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Undip by the Dean of the Undip FSM. The new Doctor is Dr. Arina Tri Lunggani, S.Si., M.Si with expertise in Microbiology and Dr. Ir. Ainie Khutiati, R.S, DEA with expertise in Instrumentation and Control.
After the introduction of the new Doctor, the event was continued with a Scientific Oration given by Prof. Dr. Wahyu Setia Budi, M.S. with the theme “The Role and Contribution of Science and Mathematics Educational Institutions in the Health Sector”. The event was then closed with the cutting of tumpeng by the Dean of FSM Undip who was handed over to the new Doctor, followed by prayer together, group photos and congratulations by the Faculty Leaders to the new Doctors and closed with a friendly
