The Informatics Undergraduate Study Program, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) of Diponegoro University (UNDIP) held a guest lecture with the Apple Developer Academy @ Ciputra University Surabaya on Wednesday, April 23rd, 2025 at the Acintya Prasada Building, 6th floor, FSM UNDIP. This activity was attended by around 200 students and presented two speakers from the Apple Developer Academy, namely Yulibar Husni, S.Des. and Andi Setiawan Abadi, S.Kom., M.M., CHRA.
The event was opened by the Secretary of the Informatics Undergraduate Study Program, Dr. Helmie Arif Wibawa, S.Si., M.Cs. In his remarks, he emphasized the importance of collaboration between the world of higher education and the technology industry in order to create graduates who are adaptive and ready to compete at the global level.
The first session was filled by Yulibar Husni, S.Des., as the Software Development Learning Facilitator of the Apple Developer Academy. He presented general lecture material on technology and application development frameworks used in the Apple ecosystem. Students are introduced to creative processes, design approaches, and development principles that are global industry standards.
In the second session, Andi Setiawan Abadi, S.Kom., M.M., CHRA, as the Operational Manager of the Apple Developer Academy, delivered a socialization regarding the 2026 Cohort Program. The program is a leading program that is open to students from various academic backgrounds and aims to attract potential talents to be developed into application developers in the Apple ecosystem.
Closing the series of activities, two Apple Developer Academy alumni from the city of Semarang were also present to share their experiences during the program. Both of them shared the learning process, the challenges they faced, and how the experience opened up professional opportunities in the technology field. Their stories are an inspiration and motivation for students who are interested in following in similar footsteps.
This guest lecture is expected to broaden students’ horizons and encourage their enthusiasm to actively develop themselves in the technology field, especially in developing Apple-based applications.
