The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Diponegoro University held its 124th Yudisium Ceremony on Monday, May 5, 2025, at the Prof. Soedarto, S.H. Building, Tembalang. The event was officially opened by the Secretary of the FSM Senate, Prof. Dr. Heri Sutanto, S.Si., M.Si., F.Med., and attended by the Dean of FSM, Vice Deans, Heads and Secretaries of Departments, Heads of Study Programs, as well as managers and supervisors within the FSM UNDIP community. The ceremony was solemn yet celebratory, marking the end of an academic journey and the beginning of a new chapter for the graduates.

In this period, FSM conferred graduation status to a total of 288 students, comprising 22 from the Master’s Programs and 266 from the Undergraduate Programs. The graduates were distributed across the following study programs: Master of Mathematics (1 graduate), Bachelor of Mathematics (50), Master of Biology (9), Bachelor of Biology (19), Bachelor of Biotechnology (6), Bachelor of Chemistry (9), Master of Physics (12), Bachelor of Physics (45), Bachelor of Statistics (66), and Bachelor of Informatics (71). The graduates came from diverse backgrounds and completed their studies with enthusiasm, perseverance, and dedication—both academically and beyond.

In his address, the Dean of FSM, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., expressed his appreciation to the graduates for their achievements and encouraged them to uphold the good name of their alma mater in their future endeavors—whether in professional careers or further studies. He also introduced the Postgraduate Acceleration Program (PAS Pasca), which is specifically designed for Diponegoro University graduates who wish to pursue a Master’s degree within six months of completing their undergraduate or professional programs. This initiative is part of UNDIP’s commitment to promoting a more integrated and accelerated education pathway. On the same occasion, the Dean also reminded graduates to complete the tracer study as part of their contribution to educational quality assurance and institutional evaluation.

This yudisium also highlighted outstanding academic achievements, with 213 graduates earning the Cum Laude distinction. Moreover, the Dean Award was presented to 15 exemplary graduates in recognition of their exceptional academic performance throughout their studies. This award reflects the faculty’s appreciation for students who demonstrated excellence, commitment, and integrity during their academic journey.

Following the yudisium, all FSM UNDIP graduates are scheduled to participate in Diponegoro University’s 178th Graduation Ceremony, which will be held on Tuesday, May 6, 2025, at the Muladi Dome Convention Center. This moment marks the conclusion of their academic path at FSM UNDIP and the commencement of their contributions to society and professional fields.
