The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics at Diponegoro University (BEM FSM UNDIP) organized the Silaturahmi Birokrasi (SILBI) event on Thursday, May 15, 2025, held at the AP Building, 4th Floor. This event served as a strategic forum bringing together student functionaries and faculty bureaucracy to strengthen synergy and open channels for constructive dialogue aimed at advancing FSM.
The event was attended by the Dean of FSM, the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, the Vice Dean for Resources, the Supervisor of the Resource Subdivision, the Coordinator of BEM FSM, as well as the chairman and members of BEM FSM. The presence of these leaders and representatives demonstrated a shared commitment to fostering a synergistic, inclusive, and adaptive academic environment that meets the needs of the academic community.
Through SILBI, aspirations and work program proposals from various student divisions were openly discussed with FSM leadership. The forum aims to cultivate a collaborative, harmonious, and responsive academic climate that addresses the needs of the academic community.
Representatives from BEM FSM divisions such as Campus Harmonization, Student Welfare, Research and Scholarship, Community Service, Student Resource Development, and Creative Economy shared their issues and ideas. Topics raised included the sustainability of academic programs such as the International Undergraduate Program (IUP) and credit conversion, transparency in funding and facilitation of student activities, mapping of outstanding student programs, as well as support for research and community service activities. Additionally, preparations for upcoming student entrepreneurship programs such as P2MW and PMW were also discussed.
Through SILBI, BEM FSM UNDIP hopes to strengthen sustainable collaboration between students and faculty bureaucracy to ensure that future policies and work programs align more closely with the needs and spirit of the FSM academic community.
