The Department of Informatics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University, held an Adjunct Professor program on August 24–27, 2025, featuring Assoc. Prof. Dr. Norjihan Abdul Ghani from Universiti Malaya, Malaysia as the guest lecturer. This activity was part of the World Class University (WCU) program at Undip and was led by Dinar Mutiara Kusumo Nugraheni, Ph.D. as the Person in Charge (PIC).

The main theme of the program was Information Security with a focus on the latest technologies. Prof. Dr. Norjihan Abdul Ghani delivered lectures on various strategic issues, including the security of health information exchange in smart healthcare, device authentication for healthcare IoT systems, secure data sharing in intelligent transportation systems, identity-based encryption for edge computing, and AI-based threat detection systems with adaptive learning.

In addition to knowledge transfer, this program also provided guidance to undergraduate Informatics students on how to transform ideas into real research projects. Students had the opportunity to learn directly from an international expert, which is expected to broaden their insights and enhance their competencies in the field of information security.

Through this adjunct professor program, the Department of Informatics FSM Undip aims to improve the quality of education while opening up opportunities for research collaboration between Undip and Universiti Malaya in the future. The World Class University program at Undip will continue to bring international experts to support the achievement of world-class higher education standards.
