Semarang, Saturday, 25 October 2025 — The Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University (FSM UNDIP) held a Fun Walk to commemorate its 37th Anniversary. The event began at 6:00 a.m. WIB in the courtyard of Building G (former Dean’s Office) at FSM UNDIP, creating a warm atmosphere of togetherness among faculty members, administrative staff, students, and alumni.
The program began with a campus fun walk, followed by remarks and a meet-and-greet. The committee noted strong enthusiasm, with a total of 511 participants enlivening this year’s fun walk.
The Committee Chair, Rahmila Dapa, S.Si., M.Sc., expressed gratitude to all committee members and participants for their presence and cooperation in making the event a success. “Thank you for the synergy of all parties,” she said, while hoping that healthy-lifestyle and togetherness activities like this will become a good tradition within FSM.
The Chair of the FSM Alumni Association (IKA), Syaiful Bahri, appreciated the invitation and the opportunity to gather once again. He emphasized that the fun walk serves as a forum for alumni across cohorts to reconnect. “Through events like this, we can meet old friends, refresh networks, and strengthen alumni contributions to our alma mater,” he said.
The Dean of FSM, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., highlighted the spirit of togetherness in the anniversary celebration. “We connect with alumni, provide space for reunions, and allow our students to share in the joy through this fun walk. We thank the senior deans who laid the foundation for FSM to become a respected faculty through its research achievements; this, of course, is inseparable from the support of the entire academic community,” he said.
After the remarks, the program continued with entertainment and door-prize giveaways, further enlivening the atmosphere. Laughter, selfies, and warm conversations among participants underscored the close bonds within the FSM UNDIP family.
