FSM UNDIP Holds 2025 Management Review Meeting as a Continuous Effort to Enhance Academic Quality

Semarang, 12 November 2025 – The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) of Universitas Diponegoro held its Management Review Meeting (RTM) on Wednesday, 12 November 2025, at Wimarion Hotel Semarang. The event was attended by the Dean, Vice Deans, Heads of Study Programs, as well as lecturers and academic staff from across the faculty.

The meeting opened with remarks from the Dean of FSM, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., who emphasized the importance of RTM as a strategic instrument to ensure the sustainability of the faculty’s quality culture. He highlighted the need for stronger inter-unit collaboration, the reinforcement of the role of academic advisors, and the alignment of faculty targets with the university’s strategic direction. He also stressed the urgency of accelerating the achievement of key performance indicators (IKU) and strengthening the quality of the tridharma as the foundation for enhancing institutional competitiveness.

In the next session, Rully Rahadian, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., who also serves as a member of the Faculty Quality Assurance Team (TPMF), presented the results of the Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) of the Follow-Up Action Plan (RTL). In his presentation, he provided an overview of the implementation progress of the 2024 RTL, which generally showed continuous improvement across various programs and active involvement of units in carrying out the planned follow-up actions. Dr. Rully also highlighted several implementation challenges—most of which involved collaboration with international partners—and underscored the importance of accurately completing the why and how analysis as part of strengthening the faculty’s quality documentation system.

Following this, Prof. Dr. Dwi Hudiyanti, M.Sc., Chair of the TPMF, delivered the results of the 2025 Internal Quality Audit (AMI) for the study programs within FSM. Her presentation covered various performance indicators, including study duration and on-time graduation for undergraduate programs, as well as additional achievements for master’s, doctoral, and professional programs. Overall, most programs achieved very good scores, although several indicators—such as learning outcomes achievement, community service activities, and human resource quality—still require further attention.

After the AMI session, Vice Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Ngadiwiyana, S.Si., M.Si., presented the Best AMI Ranking Certificates to this year’s awardees: the Undergraduate Program in Statistics (S1 Statistika) and the Master’s Program in Biology (S2 Biologi). The recognition was awarded in appreciation of the programs’ consistency and commitment to maintaining and enhancing the quality of educational services and academic governance.

The event continued with the presentation of RTL summaries by the Heads of each Undergraduate, Master’s, Doctoral, and Professional Program, moderated by Alan Prahutama, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D. Each Head of Program presented their progress, challenges, and follow-up plans aimed at strengthening the quality of education, research, and community service within their respective study programs.

The RTM series concluded with the signing of the RTL documents by the Dean and all Heads of Study Programs, marking a collective commitment to carrying out strategic quality improvement measures for the coming year. FSM UNDIP remains committed to strengthening internal governance, driving innovation in the tridharma, and building an academic ecosystem that is excellent, adaptive, and highly competitive—contributing meaningfully to society and the advancement of scientific knowledge.
