FSM UNDIP Holds Workshop to Evaluate 2025 IKU Achievements and Formulate 2026 Targets

Jepara, 12 December 2025. The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Diponegoro University, organized the Workshop on Enhancing Key Performance Indicator (IKU) Achievements for Tracer Study and MBKM in 2025, held on 12–13 December 2025 at Harison Resort Antawirya, Jepara. The workshop served as a coordination forum to strengthen strategies for achieving IKU targets and to align actions across departments and study programs in preparation for the following year’s targets. Participants included faculty leadership, heads of departments, heads of study programs, tracer study and MBKM operators, and related administrative staff.

On the first day, the workshop began with an opening session led by the Dean of FSM UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T. The Dean expressed appreciation for the collaboration of all departments, department heads, and study program heads who have worked toward meeting tracer study targets. In his remarks, the Dean emphasized the importance of refining 2026 targets through the strategic presentations delivered during the workshop. He also reminded participants to maintain achievements that have been reached, including FSM’s current position as the faculty with the highest paper-per-faculty performance at UNDIP, amid increasing competition from other faculties.

The program continued with presentations from each department, delivered by the heads of departments, outlining achievements and targets. In general, the presentations reviewed IKU WCU 2025 achievements and IKU WCU 2026 targets across the same indicators, including academic reputation, employer reputation, citation per faculty, international students ratio, international faculty ratio, international research network, outbound students, faculty-student ratio, paper per faculty, employment outcomes, and SDGs.

After the break, the event proceeded with an awards session recognizing the achievements of departments and study programs.

In the category of highest number of Scopus publications at the department level, the awards went to the Department of Physics (1st Place), the Department of Chemistry (2nd Place), and the Department of Biology (3rd Place).

In the category of highest number of Q1/Q2 publications at the department level, the awards went to the Department of Chemistry (1st Place), the Department of Physics (2nd Place), and the Department of Informatics (3rd Place).

In the category of highest tracer study achievement, the awards went to the Undergraduate Program in Biotechnology (1st Place), the Undergraduate Program in Statistics (2nd Place), and the Undergraduate Program in Chemistry (3rd Place).

In the category of largest tracer study improvement (delta), the awards went to the Undergraduate Program in Statistics (1st Place), the Undergraduate Program in Chemistry (2nd Place), and the Undergraduate Program in Mathematics (3rd Place).

On the second day, 13 December 2025, the workshop concluded with a closing session by the Dean of FSM UNDIP, who expressed appreciation and gratitude to all lecturers and operators for their collaborative efforts, which enabled several indicators to exceed the targets. The Dean also encouraged units whose achievements have not yet surpassed the targets to continue improving through collaboration and consistent program implementation.

The workshop is expected to strengthen coordination and consistency across all units within FSM UNDIP in improving IKU performance, not only through strengthening tracer study and MBKM, but also by enhancing reputation and other performance outputs. Through the evaluation of 2025 achievements and the refinement of 2026 targets, FSM UNDIP remains committed to maintaining competitiveness and to continuously contributing to the advancement of science and mathematics at both national and international levels.
