FSM UNDIP Conducts Monitoring and Evaluation of Research and Community Service Funded by Non-APBN Sources in 2025

The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Universitas Diponegoro, conducted a Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) activity for Research and Community Service (PPM) funded by non-APBN sources in 2025 on Wednesday, December 17, 2025. The activity was held offline on the 4th Floor of the Acintya Prasada Building, FSM UNDIP, and was attended by lecturers implementing PPM programs from all departments within FSM.

The PPM Monev is part of FSM UNDIP’s efforts to ensure that research and community service activities are carried out in accordance with established plans, regulations, and targeted outputs. In this year’s implementation, the evaluation process was conducted in a structured manner with evaluation rooms organized by department, namely the Departments of Mathematics and Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Statistics, and Informatics.

During the activity, the lecturers presented the progress of their research and community service programs carried out throughout 2025. The internal review team of FSM UNDIP then assessed various aspects, including the achievement of program implementation, alignment of outputs with the funding scheme, completeness of reports, as well as the sustainability potential and utilization of the results.

In addition to assessing administrative achievements and outputs, the Monev also served as an academic forum for providing constructive feedback. The reviewers delivered suggestions and recommendations aimed at improving research quality, encouraging the increase of reputable scientific publications, and strengthening the impact of community service programs to be more applicable and sustainable.

The implementation of this Monev is also expected to foster a stronger culture of high-quality research and community service within FSM UNDIP. Through continuous evaluation, lecturers are encouraged to continuously improve the quality of planning, implementation, and reporting of PPM activities.

FSM UNDIP remains committed to maintaining the quality of research and community service as part of the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education. The results of the 2025 PPM Monev are expected to serve as a basis for improvement and strengthening of PPM programs in the subsequent period, while also expanding FSM UNDIP’s tangible contributions to the development of science and the welfare of society.
