The program began with welcoming remarks from Satriawan Rasyid Purnama, S.Kom., M.Cs., Coordinator of Information Technology at FSM UNDIP, who emphasized the importance of academic activities such as school visits in helping students broaden their perspectives before determining their study choices. He also highlighted that collaboration between schools and universities plays a strategic role in preparing young generations who are adaptive and competitive in both academic and professional settings. “Academic activities like this are essential to broaden perspectives before deciding on the next educational stage, especially at the university level. Such activities allow us to build synergy and institutional collaboration,” he stated.
From the school’s side, remarks were delivered by Daimah, S.Pd., M.Pd., Vice Principal for Curriculum Affairs of SMAN 1 Jetis, who explained that the visit aimed to introduce students to the academic culture of university life, as well as to provide an overview of the admission system at UNDIP, including scholarship opportunities. She expressed her hopes that students would gain valuable insights to prepare for their transition to higher education. “We want to introduce the academic culture and admission pathways at UNDIP, including available scholarships, so that our students are better prepared for university. We hope they return with new insights and knowledge,” she said.

The main session featured a presentation on the profile of Universitas Diponegoro and FSM by Oki Ade Putra, M.Si., Coordinator of Academic and Student Affairs at FSM UNDIP. The presentation covered UNDIP’s faculties and study programs, campus facilities, academic culture, student achievements, and career prospects for graduates. Students were also introduced to the university’s admission system, which includes SNBP, SNBT, Independent Selection, and the Outstanding Talent Selection program, as well as scholarship opportunities such as KIP-K, ADiK, and scholarships from external institutions. The session also highlighted FSM’s seven undergraduate study programs (Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Informatics, and Statistics) and its academic environment that supports student achievements, research activities, and competitions across disciplines.

The discussion session was lively and interactive. Students actively asked questions regarding admission mechanisms, scholarship opportunities, campus life, and career prospects in science and technology. Several questions also addressed current topics such as academic competency tests, curriculum readiness, and learning facilities available at UNDIP.
Through this visit, FSM UNDIP hopes to strengthen its partnership with SMAN 1 Jetis while inspiring students to pursue higher education. FSM UNDIP warmly welcomes such initiatives and is open to future academic collaborations in supporting student development and preparation for university life.
