Lecturers of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro, participated in the Roadshow on the Socialisation of the Election of Members of the Diponegoro University Board of Trustees (MWA) for the 2026–2031 period, organised by the Academic Senate of Universitas Diponegoro on Tuesday, 10 February 2026, at the Acintya Prasada Building Meeting Room, 6th Floor, FSM UNDIP. This activity was part of a series of roadshows conducted across faculties to provide comprehensive information to the academic community regarding the election process of MWA members.
The event began with an opening remark from the Dean of FSM UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., who emphasised the importance of academic community participation in supporting the election of MWA members as a strategic university body responsible for shaping institutional policies and development directions. He also encouraged lecturers to carefully follow the session in order to gain a clear understanding of the election mechanism.

The session was moderated by Prof. Dr. Widowati, S.Si., M.Si., Chair of the UNDIP MWA Election Committee and Professor at the Department of Mathematics, FSM UNDIP. She highlighted that the roadshow aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the role of the Board of Trustees, its membership composition, and the election stages for the 2026–2031 period.
The main presentation was delivered by Prof. Dr. Drs. Dhanang Respati Puguh, M.Hum., Secretary of the Academic Senate of Universitas Diponegoro. He explained that the Board of Trustees is one of the governing bodies of Universitas Diponegoro whose members are elected through the Academic Senate. He also noted that the current MWA term will end on 1 March 2026, making the election of new members for the 2026–2031 period necessary.
Participants were also introduced to the general composition of MWA membership, which represents various stakeholders, including the community, alumni, professors, non-professor lecturers, administrative staff, and students. In addition, the session outlined general eligibility requirements for prospective members, emphasising integrity, strong reputation, commitment to higher education development, and the ability to build synergy between the university, government, and society.
Through this roadshow, FSM UNDIP lecturers are expected to gain a comprehensive understanding of the MWA election process and to support the implementation of a transparent, accountable, and high-quality election process. The event concluded with an interactive discussion and question-and-answer session.
