He stated that alumni play a strategic role in supporting institutional development and strengthening the reputation of both the faculty and the university. According to him, active alumni who are well-documented and possess broad networks are valuable assets in supporting institutional achievements, including efforts toward becoming a World Class University.
He also emphasized that alumni consolidation is not only important for maintaining relationships but also serves as part of strengthening institutional indicators. Alumni who have pursued careers in various professional fields are considered capable of making tangible contributions through tracer studies, partnership network development, academic reputation enhancement, and support for university rankings. Therefore, the relationship between the faculty and alumni is expected to remain active and sustainable.

Following the speeches, the event became more lively through various interactive activities such as awarding sessions, door prizes, and the “Adu Keren” session involving alumni from different generations. Participants’ enthusiasm was evident throughout the event, especially as alumni exchanged stories and experiences from their careers after graduating from the Department of Mathematics FSM UNDIP.
In addition to strengthening relationships among alumni generations, the event also served as momentum to strengthen the Mathematics FSM UNDIP alumni database. Alumni data collection is considered important not only for communication and networking purposes but also to support study program development, accreditation, tracer studies, and the university’s internationalization agenda. Through a more structured alumni database, alumni contributions in various fields are expected to be mapped more optimally.
A warm and friendly atmosphere was felt throughout the event. Alumni enthusiastically reminisced, greeted one another, and shared memories from their time studying at the Department of Mathematics FSM UNDIP. The presence of both senior and younger alumni became one of the key strengths reflecting the close familial bond within the Mathematics FSM UNDIP alumni community.
Through this halal bihalal, reunion, and consolidation event, IKA Mathematics FSM UNDIP hopes that relationships among alumni will continue to be maintained and strengthened. The event is expected not only to become an annual gathering agenda but also to serve as an initial step in strengthening alumni contributions to support the advancement of the Department of Mathematics, the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, and Universitas Diponegoro more broadly.
