Semarang, 14 September 2025 — The Department of Statistics together with the Statistics Student Association (HIMASTA) at Universitas Diponegoro successfully held the annual academic event Dokter Data 2025 at the Acintya Prasada Building, Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Universitas Diponegoro.
Carrying the theme “Gaining Efficiency and Sustainability Through Innovations and Data Solutions (GENESIS)”, this year’s Dokter Data underscores the urgency of data-driven solutions to foster efficiency and sustainability across sectors. Through this theme, the committee invites students to think critically and innovatively, presenting evidence-based recommendations to address increasingly complex global challenges.
As part of FSM UNDIP’s World Class University (WCU) program, Dokter Data stands as proof of the Department of Statistics’ commitment to expanding global academic networks while elevating a national competition onto the international stage. This year, Dokter Data featured four competition tracks at national and international levels for senior high school students and university students: Dokter Data Infographic Competition (DIC), Dokter Data Essay Competition (DEC), Dokter Data Analytics Olympiad (DAO), and Dokter Data High School Olympiad (DHSO).
A historic milestone was achieved as the Dokter Data Infographic Competition (DIC) was officially held at the international level for the first time. Participation from overseas contestants affirms Dokter Data’s standing as a prestigious platform in statistics and data science recognized internationally.
The event drew 153 registered teams across all tracks from various universities and high schools at home and abroad. Each competition showcased creative ideas, rigorous analysis, and data-driven innovations that reflect the spirit of youth in the era of digital transformation and sustainability.
