Semarang – The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held an online training session on Systematic Literature Review (SLR) on January 15, 2025, via the Zoom platform. The training aimed to enhance the skills of lecturers and researchers in deriving ideas and innovative findings from high-quality literature studies, particularly for Scopus-indexed international publications.

In this session, Adriyan Pramono, S.Gz, M.Si, Ph.D., the keynote speaker, discussed various approaches to writing scientific reviews. He explained the differences between narrative and systematic reviews and highlighted the importance of employing protocols in conducting systematic reviews. The discussion also emphasized the significance of selecting specific topics to improve the quality and relevance of the reviews. Moreover, participants were guided on how to develop research ideas and strategies to increase both the quantity and quality of scientific publications.

This training is part of FSM Undip’s continuous efforts to improve the number and quality of international publications, especially those indexed in Scopus, in line with the faculty’s targets for 2025. Additionally, it aimed to introduce new techniques for writing scientific reviews that could enhance FSM Undip’s research contributions on a global scale.

“Through this training, we hope that researchers at FSM Undip will be more effective in preparing high-quality systematic reviews, thereby increasing the visibility of our publications at the international level,” said Dr. Adriyan Pramono.

The training was attended by lecturers, researchers, and graduate students, who were enthusiastic about refining their skills in writing high-quality systematic reviews. By organizing this training, FSM Undip aims to strengthen its research capacity and international publication output, contributing to the achievement of its Scopus-indexed publication targets for 2025.

This event marks a significant step for FSM Undip in enhancing research capacity and optimizing impactful scientific publications on the global stage.
