The Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro (FSM UNDIP), welcomed a visit from SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jakarta held at the Acintya Prasada Building, FSM UNDIP. This activity served as an introduction to the campus environment as well as a platform to share information about university life in the fields of science and mathematics.

The event began with a welcome address by Dr. Pandji Triadyaksa, S.Si., M.Sc., F.Med., Coordinator of Promotion and Communication at FSM. In his remarks, he expressed pride at the presence of the students from SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jakarta and conveyed his hope that this visit would be beneficial and inspire them to continue their studies at Universitas Diponegoro.

The next speech was delivered by Sigit Waluyo, M.Pd., Guidance and Counseling Coordinator of SMA Muhammadiyah 3 Jakarta, representing the school principal. He hoped that this visit would motivate the students, especially considering the large number of alumni from the school who have successfully pursued higher education at UNDIP.

The program continued with a presentation by Dr. Pandji, who introduced FSM UNDIP as one of the faculties offering outstanding study programs in science and mathematics. He highlighted the wide range of opportunities and potentials that students can pursue at UNDIP, both in academic and non-academic fields. Participants were also introduced to various campus facilities, study programs, and student achievements at FSM.

The students’ enthusiasm was evident during the interactive Q&A session. Questions raised included the university admission pathway through the Academic Ability Test (TKA), types and requirements of scholarships available, TOEFL score requirements for the International Undergraduate Program (IUP), career prospects for FSM graduates, as well as regulations regarding high school graduation for admission to UNDIP. The discussion was lively and provided students with valuable insights to help plan their future education.

FSM UNDIP warmly welcomes such activities as a form of collaboration and effort to introduce higher education to students at an early stage, while also strengthening the relationship between schools and universities.
