FSM UNDIP Holds Socialization on Research Output Monitoring and Evaluation and Workshop on Publication Acceleration

The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), organized a socialization session on the Monitoring and Evaluation of Research Outputs from Non-APBN Funding for the 2019–2024 period, combined with a Workshop on Publication Acceleration Management. The event was held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the 6th Floor Hall of the Acintya Prasada Building, FSM UNDIP.

This activity aimed to present the results of monitoring and evaluation of research outputs while also encouraging improvements in both the quality and quantity of scientific publications, particularly in reputable international journals. In addition, this event served as part of the effort to support the fulfillment of final research reporting obligations within FSM.

In the first session, the material on Monitoring and Evaluation of Research Outputs from Non-APBN Funding for the 2019–2024 period was delivered by Dr. Eng. Adi Wibowo, S.Si., M.Kom., Vice Dean for Resources at FSM UNDIP. In his presentation, he outlined the achievements of research outputs from 2019 to 2024, including the number of research projects, types of outputs produced, as well as the strengthening of research output data management at the faculty level.

It was explained that from thousands of funded research titles, the outputs produced are highly diverse, ranging from national journal publications and international journals to proceedings and intellectual property, reflecting the continuously growing research productivity within FSM UNDIP.

The second session featured a Workshop on Publication Acceleration Management delivered by Dr. Choirul Anam, S.Si., M.Si., F.Med., a lecturer from the Department of Physics, UNDIP. In his session, he shared strategies to enhance scientific publication productivity, from selecting research topics, managing ideas, to writing scientific articles effectively and efficiently. He also emphasized the importance of parallel work, team collaboration, and consistency in the research and publication process.

Through this activity, FSM UNDIP aims to strengthen the commitment of its academic community in producing high-quality research outputs, not only in terms of quantity but also their scientific impact. In addition, this initiative is expected to reinforce a sustainable research and scientific publication culture within FSM UNDIP.
