FSM UNDIP Strengthens Alumni Consolidation through Alumni and Stakeholder Coordination

The Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Universitas Diponegoro (FSM UNDIP), continues to strengthen alumni consolidation through the Alumni and Stakeholder Coordination event held on Wednesday, May 14, 2026, at the Acintya Prasada Building of FSM UNDIP. The activity was part of the Alumni Consolidation program aimed at strengthening relationships among alumni while building a more active, structured, and sustainable alumni network.

The event served as a strategic forum that brought together the faculty, study programs, alumni, and stakeholders in an effort to strengthen synergy in supporting institutional development. Through this forum, FSM UNDIP encouraged alumni involvement as strategic partners who not only maintain strong relationships among graduates but also contribute to academic and non-academic development as well as strengthening the institution’s reputation.

Strengthening alumni consolidation is considered important in supporting faculty development across various aspects. Alumni with broad professional networks in industry, government, academia, and the professional sector are expected to become strategic connectors for FSM UNDIP in creating collaboration opportunities, developing partnerships, and enhancing graduate competitiveness.

In addition to strengthening alumni relations, the activity was also directed toward improving the Employer Reputation and Employment Outcomes of FSM UNDIP graduates. Activating alumni networks is considered an important step in demonstrating the quality of FSM UNDIP graduates at both national and global levels, including supporting the internationalization agenda of the study programs.

The series of activities began with alumni registration and data collection, followed by a presentation on the strategic development direction of FSM UNDIP. During the session, participants received an overview of various faculty development programs, including strengthening academic reputation, expanding collaboration with external partners, and advancing the internationalization of study programs continuously promoted by FSM UNDIP.

The event also featured interactive discussion and alumni consolidation forums. Alumni and stakeholders shared strategic input related to institutional development, improving graduate quality, strengthening professional networks, and exploring collaboration opportunities in various sectors. The discussions also served as a platform to strengthen communication and relationships between alumni and the faculty.

Through this forum, FSM UNDIP also opened opportunities for alumni contributions in various fields, including recruitment, internship programs, job references, mentoring for students and young alumni, business networking, industrial collaboration, as well as support for academic activities and study program internationalization. Alumni contributions are expected to become one of the key strengths in supporting sustainable faculty development.

The atmosphere throughout the event was warm and collaborative. Participants enthusiastically took part in the entire series of activities, engaged in discussions, and built shared commitments to strengthen the FSM UNDIP alumni network so that it becomes more solid and impactful for institutional development.

Through the Alumni and Stakeholder Coordination activity, FSM UNDIP hopes that alumni consolidation can continue to be strengthened, creating alumni relationships that are active, collaborative, and sustainable. Alumni are expected not only to remain part of the institution’s history but also to become strategic partners in supporting the advancement of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics and Universitas Diponegoro more broadly.
