The leadership of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM), Universitas Diponegoro (UNDIP), visited the Undergraduate Informatics Program at the Rembang Campus on Wednesday, September 9, 2026. The visit was part of FSM UNDIP’s efforts to observe the implementation of academic activities firsthand while also listening to the aspirations of students and administrative staff at the Rembang Campus.
The delegation consisted of the Dean of FSM UNDIP, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T.; Manager of Administrative Affairs at FSM UNDIP, Slamet Purwanto, S.Si.; and Supervisor of Academic and Student Affairs at FSM UNDIP, Umi Arbiati, S.Kom. The delegation was welcomed by students of the Undergraduate Informatics Program at the Rembang Campus and administrative staff responsible for the campus’s day-to-day operations.
During the visit, the FSM leadership held a direct dialogue with Informatics students. The discussion provided an opportunity for students to share their experiences, needs, and various matters requiring further attention to support the learning process at the Rembang Campus.
Several topics were discussed, including the implementation of lectures and practical sessions, the need for supporting learning facilities, and the development of student activities. Students also expressed their aspirations regarding the establishment of a student association for the study program as a platform for student development, activities, and communication within the Undergraduate Informatics Program.
In addition to academic and student affairs, the discussion also addressed the study program’s readiness to support the accreditation process, as well as various needs related to the delivery of Undergraduate Informatics education at the Rembang Campus. The aspirations and feedback conveyed by students provided valuable input for the faculty in gaining a more comprehensive understanding of the needs on the ground.
The visit continued with an inspection of the buildings and facilities used to support academic and student activities. The inspection was conducted to observe the condition of existing infrastructure and facilities firsthand, as well as to identify areas requiring further development at the Rembang Campus.
Through this visit, FSM UNDIP continues to ensure that the implementation of the Undergraduate Informatics Program at the Rembang Campus runs effectively and is supported by an adequate academic environment. The direct presence of the faculty leadership also served as an opportunity to strengthen communication among the faculty, students, and administrative staff.
The visit is expected to become part of FSM UNDIP’s ongoing efforts to follow up on students’ aspirations and needs, while further strengthening the development of the Undergraduate Informatics Program at the Rembang Campus in terms of academics, student affairs, facilities, and study program governance.
