fsm.undip.ac.id/ In order to commemorate the 95th Mother’s Day of DWP FSM Undip, Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) Faculty of Science and Mathematics Diponegoro University held a competition. The event, which took place on Friday, January 5, 2024, carried the theme “Empowered Women, Advanced Indonesia”.
The event was opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics Diponegoro University, Prof. Dr. Widowati S.Si. M.Si.. In addition, there were also remarks from the Chairperson of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) FSM, Mrs. beta noranita, Chairperson of the committee Mrs. waty tony, and a prayer led by Mrs. Ayik.
This activity was attended by Dharma Wanita ladies of the Faculty of Science and Mathematics, Diponegoro University. The activity consists of several competitions such as fried rice creation competitions and there are also spontaneity competitions. For the assessment process consists of 3 judges, jury 1 is the Dean of FSM Prof. Dr. Widowati S.Si. M.si., jury 2 DWP Senior Mrs. Ely Wahyu, jury 3 DWP FSM Chair Mrs. Beta.
The purpose of this activity according to Prof. Dr. Widowati S.Si. M.Si, namely “to establish a relationship between fellow dharma women, always be able to unite between departments or between colleagues. Commemorating that a mother is an extraordinary figure, can be a mother, a wife, or a person who always struggles parallel and equal to men. It is very appropriate to hold Mother’s Day commemoration activities. Mothers are equal to men (mother’s day march), behind the success of a man there is a tougher wife”.
