Semarang – The Faculty of Science and Mathematics (FSM) at Universitas Diponegoro (Undip) held its first Faculty’s Coordination Meeting of 2025 on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at the 4th Floor of the Gedung Acintya Prasada. The meeting, attended by faculty leaders, the management team, heads and secretaries of study programs, as well as field coordinators, discussed several strategic points to strengthen the achievement of Key Performance Indicators (IKU) while preparing FSM Undip to become a World Class University (WCU).

According to the meeting minutes, the discussion focused on aligning the curriculum to better suit industrial needs and scientific developments, improving the quality of research and scientific publications, expanding partnerships with various stakeholders, and empowering students through innovative programs. All these efforts aim to equip FSM graduates with strong competencies and a high level of competitiveness, both nationally and internationally.

In his remarks, Prof. Dr. Kusworo Adi, S.Si., M.T., Dean of FSM Undip, underlined that synergy and collaboration are the main drivers for realizing the faculty’s grand vision in 2025. He noted that this work meeting serves as a crucial starting point for outlining concrete steps to ensure FSM continues to innovate and gain recognition both nationally and on the global stage.

“We place great hope in our entire academic community at FSM to work together in innovation and collaboration so that our IKU targets and the goal of becoming a World Class University can be achieved. Through this work meeting, we are establishing tangible measures to strengthen FSM’s reputation at the national and international levels,” stated Prof. Kusworo Adi.

With the shared spirit and commitment from all faculty members, FSM Undip is optimistic about accelerating its pursuit of greater accomplishments and higher prestige in 2025. The programs and strategies endorsed in this work meeting are expected to be implemented promptly in order to consistently support IKU attainment and progress toward WCU status.
